The Korea-China Friendship Forum was held in celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and China

Prominent figures such as Moon Hee-sang, former Speaker of the National Assembly; Han Seung-soo, former Prime Minister; Xing Haiming, Chinese Ambassador to South Korea; Ro Jae-hun, President of East Asia Culture Center; Lee Ik-won, CEO of Edaily; Ou Boqian, Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat for South Korea, China, and Japan; and Lee Soo-man, the General Producer of SM Entertainment, attended the forum.

Yesterday's forum, jointly organized by Edaily, Edaily TV, the Preparation Committee, and The Charhar Institute, was attended by around 200 political and academic figures from South Korea and China.

Moon Hee-sang, the Honorary Chairman of the Preparatory Committee and former Speaker of the National Assembly, stated during the event, "Both countries should overcome the challenges and opportunities of the upcoming post-COVID era and the global economic downturn as important partners." He emphasized the need for future-oriented cooperation between the two nations with a spirit of mutual assistance.

In the forum, Han Seung-soo, former Prime Minister of South Korea, and Li Zhaoxing, Former Chinese Foreign Minister, delivered keynote speeches, while Lee Soo-man, General Producer of SM Entertainment, presented on the future of “Korea-China Cultural Convergence Industry and Investment Cooperation.”
