Ahead of the 28th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China, Ambassador Xing Haiming visited former South Korean President Roh Tae-woo. Ambassador Xing Haiming sent a friendly hello to former President Roh Tae-woo, praising him for his great contribution to the relationship between the two countries during his presidency.

Former President Roh Tae-woo said he was very moved by Ambassador Xing Haiming's special visit. Ro Jae-hun, President of East Asia Culture Center and Roh Soh-yeong, Director of art center nabi, looking back on the efforts former President Roh Tae-woo made during his presidency to promote diplomatic relations between Korea and China and promote bilateral relations, said they will continue to pay attention to the development of China-China relations and actively promote Korea-China friendship.

Former President Roh Tae-woo was born in 1932 and served as the president of Korea from February 1988 to February 1993. During his tenure, he established diplomatic relations with China and made a state visit to China in September 1992.
